09:00 — ONE COMPASS. WHATEVER YOU'RE INTO.
Your taste,mapped.
It already knows you're into galleries, playgrounds, ramen, matinees, trails, natural wine.Custom Compass turns years of your Google Maps saves into a personal concierge — built by you, for you. Ask it where to eat, drink, and wander: it answers with the full context of what you like, where you've been, and the moment you're in.

Three people. Three tastes. One compass — and yours has been reading your saves for years.
19:00 — HOW YOURS GETS BUILT
Three steps. One of them is Google’s.
- 1
Export
Grab your Maps data from Google Takeout. Two clicks; Google emails you a zip, usually within minutes.
- 2
Import
Upload the zip. We distill years of saves, stars, and reviews into a taste profile you can read — and correct.
- 3
Ask
“One evening in Amsterdam, land at 6, low-key.” Answered, from your taste.
20:15 — NOT ANOTHER RECOMMENDATION APP
Not another recommendation app.
Every save was a vote. Every star, a data point. Every review, a note to your future self. Custom Compass is where it all pays off — a curation system built by you, for you.
Smart on day one.
No logging meals. No rating a hundred restaurants. No inviting friends. You've been building this for years — it starts already knowing you.
On cue, in context.
Landing at six. Twenty minutes before the movie. A free Sunday in a new city. Ask, and it answers with the whole picture — your taste, your history, and what's open and nearby right now.
Real places, or it says so.
Every pick is checked live against Google — open, rated, on the map. If nothing real fits, your concierge tells you honestly instead of inventing a café that doesn't exist.
Your taste, with receipts.
Not strangers' stars, not whatever the algorithm is pushing this week. Every suggestion comes with its why: “because you loved Café X and saved three natural-wine bars.”
Yours. Actually.
Your saves stay your data, used for one thing: answering you. We never sell it, and one click in Settings deletes everything — including the file you uploaded.
21:48 — WHEN THE FIRST SUGGESTION ISN'T IT
Rijksmuseum — not with a stroller today. Swapped for Micropia, 4.4 stars, quiet on Saturdays.
“Small, strange, and hands-on — like the museums you actually finish.”
A compass that keeps calibrating.
Your taste profile is the starting point, not the finish line. Tap 👍, 👎, or “Tried it” on any pick and every tap tunes the next answer. Loved somewhere? Say “more like this” and it finds the same vibe across town, or across the world.
The compass you ask next month knows you better than the one you met today.
22:30 — WHOEVER'S ASKING
For every “where should we go?”
- Weekend in a new city
- "Friends are visiting — where do I take them?"
- Date night, without the doomscroll
- Coffee near the meeting, open right now
- Nothing under 4 stars, cheap eats
- Your kind of place, anywhere on earth
23:15 — THE QUESTIONS YOU'D ASK US
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to start?+−
A Google account you've used with Maps. If you've been saving, starring, or reviewing places for a while, you're sitting on everything the concierge needs.
How long does setup take?+−
Requesting your export from Google Takeout takes about two minutes; Google usually emails the file within minutes (occasionally longer). Upload it and we do the rest.
What if I've barely saved anything?+−
The concierge still works — it just leans on Google's data instead of your taste until you've saved more. It will tell you when it's guessing.
What happens to my data?+−
Your places and taste profile live in your account, used only to answer you. We don't store Google's business data, we never sell your data, and "Delete all my data" in Settings erases everything permanently — including your uploaded files.
Does it work where I live?+−
Anywhere Google Maps does.
23:58 — YOUR TURN TO ASK
You’ve already done
the hard part.
Years of saves, stars, and reviews — sitting in a file Google will hand you today. Give them a voice, and watch it learn the rest.
